Zendrun
Errand service

Send someone to queue, buy or collect

Post what needs doing. A verified runner queues, pays, collects and hands it to you with a 6-digit code. Your money sits in escrow until you type that code in.

Cities with runners today

Verified runners on the board right now. A runner can only take an errand inside the city it was posted in, so this is the list that decides whether yours gets done.

Open, and waiting for a first runner

Errands can be posted in all 25 of these and a runner anywhere in Nigeria can verify and start taking work. What we will not do is pretend a board is busy when it is empty. Each page says what the errands in that city look like — and if you are there, running them means every errand posted is yours to take.

Nothing moves until both phones are together
The handover code is the whole design. It is read off the runner's screen and typed into the requester's, in person. Until that happens the money is in escrow, which means neither side is trusting the other — they are both trusting the same held balance.

Questions people ask

Can I pay someone to queue at NIMC or a passport office?
Yes. A runner holds your place in the line and calls you when you are near the front, so you only turn up for the part that needs your face. Enrolment itself is free and official — you are paying a person for their time in the queue, nothing else.
What is an errand service?
Someone who does the thing you have not got time to do in person: stands in a queue, pays at a counter, buys from a market, collects a parcel, drops a document. Zendrun is a marketplace for it — you post the errand, a verified runner takes it.
How is this different from a courier or a delivery app?
A courier moves a parcel that already exists from A to B. A runner creates the outcome: joins the queue, speaks to the clerk, pays the bill, picks the right one, and only then hands it over. Delivery is usually the last step of an errand, not the errand.
Who pays for what the runner buys?
The runner pays at the counter with their own money, up to a ceiling you set. The ceiling, the headroom above it, the runner's fee and the platform fee are all held from your wallet before the errand goes live, so their reimbursement is guaranteed from money that is already there.
How do I know the runner is real?
Nobody can front money until they have passed three checks: their phone number, their national ID with a liveness selfie, and a bank account in their own name. How much they may spend on your behalf is set by how far through that they have gone.
When does my money actually leave?
At the handover, in person. The runner shows a 6-digit code on their phone and you type it into yours. That releases their spend plus the fee. Anything they did not spend comes back to you.
What does it cost?
You set the runner's fee. The platform fee is shown before you post: the greater of ₦200 or 15% of the fee, plus 1.5% of the money to spend and its headroom. Nothing is added at checkout.
Which Nigerian cities does Zendrun cover?
Errands can be posted in 25 cities. Runners are on the ground in Ibadan and Lagos — everywhere else the board is open but empty, and an errand posted there waits until somebody local verifies and takes it.
Can a runner take an errand in another city?
No. A runner can only accept an errand inside the city it was posted in, measured as a radius from that city's centre. It is the rule that keeps a deadline honest.
What if the runner spends more than I allowed?
They cannot. If the price at the counter is above your ceiling, they ask in the app with a photo and you approve or decline before any money moves. No approval, no purchase.
