Send someone to Ariaria Market

Ariaria is miles of stalls and the right maker is never near the gate. Send a verified runner who can walk the lines, photograph the work, and pay only what you allowed.

No runners in Aba yet
Zendrun started in Ibadan and Lagos. You can post this errand and it will sit on the board until a verified runner in Aba takes it — so if you need it this week, that is the honest answer. If you are in Aba and want the work, every errand posted here is yours to take.
Work that is not finished yet is the risk here
Half of Ariaria is made to order, and the oldest way to lose money is paying a maker for shoes that are not cut yet. A runner photographs what actually exists at the bench before anything is paid, and anything over your ceiling comes back as a question with a picture attached. If you are commissioning rather than buying, say so in the errand: what is being paid for now, and what is paid on collection.

What people send a runner to Ariaria for

The market is laid out by trade, so the job is usually finding the right line rather than the right stall.

  • Shoes and leather — the trade Aba is known for — checked for finish and sizing before payment.
  • A sample matched: take a photo of what you want, have the runner walk it down the line until somebody makes it.
  • Garments and tailoring in bulk, where the price only moves if you are standing there.
  • An order already placed, chased and collected from the bench.
  • Bags, belts and accessories bought to a list with a ceiling.

Sizes, colours and the things a photo settles

Write the errand so the decisions are already made before the runner is standing at the bench: the size, the colour, the quantity, and what to do if that exact thing is not there — nearest alternative, call you, or skip. Each check-in carries a photo before the next unlocks, so you see the goods while there is still time to say no.

How the money works

You set a ceiling and it is held from your wallet with the runner's fee and the platform fee before the errand goes live. They pay at the stall with their own money and escrow pays them back when you enter the 6-digit handover code. Unused escrow returns to you in full, and they cannot spend over your ceiling without asking.

Questions people ask

Can someone buy shoes at Ariaria for me?
Yes. Set the most they may spend; it is held in escrow with their fee. They photograph the shoes and the receipt at the stall, and anything above your ceiling they must ask you about before paying.
What if the maker has not finished the order?
The runner photographs what is actually there and tells you. Nothing is released from escrow until you enter the handover code, so an unfinished order does not become money you have already spent.
Can they match a sample I send a photo of?
That is the common version of this errand. Put the photo on the errand with the size and colour, and say what you want done if nobody has it — the nearest alternative, a call to you, or skip it.
Who carries the risk between Ariaria and me?
The runner, from the moment they pay until you enter the handover code. Every errand with goods declares what they are worth, and what a runner may carry is capped by their verification tier.

Where this can be run today

This market is in Aba, which has no runners yet. Runners are on the ground in Ibadan and Lagos. Everywhere else the board is open and empty, so an errand posted there waits for a first runner.
